The shudder and the tsunami, spared neither the folk nor the tatami
The precipitous waggle, left us with our guts all bedraggle.
The downpour and the empty bowl, the torrent of the lost soul
Are a scraggy show of life's circle, we now wade thru the darkle.
Hits on a dozen nations, affects scores others
Losing tens of thousands to the ocean, it's a malefic potion.
Locals and tourists all alike, bear the brunt of the massive strike
Nationalities now submerge, when a helping hand does emerge.
Strong waves and wanton hits, tore everything and all to bits
With little chance for survival, we now hope for relief's arrival.
With all kith & kin gone, wandering the beaches all alone
How can we fathom the blight, who can understand the plight.
Huddle-muddle everywhere, nothing but disarray here-there
Scattered homes and disoriented lives, now left to tie loose ends.
Unsightly ghastly views, unwholesome lonesome droves
Poring over the long lists, there go the loved ones.
Tough times reveal true character, troubled spirits rise above altogether
Out of deep sorrow gaiety, despite hardship we hurdle anxiety.
Helping those that are our fellow beings, paves great new beginnings
Becoming one with the nature around, we strive to make our lives abound.
